Description: Distance Learning Network (DLN) was created in 1994 to provide live,
satellite-based continuing education workshops to behavioral healthcare
professionals. DLN is approved to offer continuing education credits to
psychologists, counselors, nurses and social workers, with a CME track
for psychiatrists to come in 1997. Subscribers participate in DLN's
broadcasts in two ways: first, DLN maintains about 30 viewing
facilities across North America, many at institutions of higher
learning, for individuals and those in private practice; additionally,
many companies receive DLN's workshops at their own facilities with
reception equipment provided by DLN. We feel that our workshops are the
most convenient and cost-effective form of CE currently available.
