Description: GrassRoots is an integration of the 400 mailing Lists at maelstrom, the WWW, and Text-based Virtual Reality (TVR) using a MultiUser Oject Oriented environment. The mailing lists are concentrated in the human services (education, psychology, disability, medicine, et al.) An average of 600,000 messages are sent to over 98,000 subscribers. These lists are organized as The Library of Current Events using the WWW. TVR has been integrated into a community that fosters the maximization of human potential in a spirit of universal inclusion.
