Description: Mercy College is dedicated to offering a curriculum of liberal arts and
sciences, as well as pre-professional programs, in order to equip men
and women with the knowledge and resources that will enable them to
become productive citizens of the community. A diverse faculty of 156
full-time and over 500 part-time faculty instructs more than 6,000
students in day, evening, and weekend sessions. The student/faculty
ratio is 17:1, and more than 60% of full-time faculty have earned
doctorates. Primarily a commuter college, Mercy attracts students from
