Description: General Description: Sagacity Learning Universe specializes in working
with professionals in all disciplines who are seeking to enhance their
capabilities in a structured environment. While Sagacity's focus is
interdisciplinary, its primary areas of emphasis have been in the areas
of business and finance, social and environmental responsibility, and
futures studies. Sagacity provides services primarily to groups such as
professional organizations, educational institutions, business and
governmental agencies with specific programmatic needs and to the
individuals in these organizations or disciplines with interests in
enhancing skills. Sagacity Learning Universe provides credit and
non-credit seminars focusing on the growing need of life long learning
for professionals as well as enhanced learning for students and faculty
in existing educational institutions. Sagacity provides true seminar
space for educational institutions where combining classes and faculty
will allow expertise to be brought into the classroom and experiences
shared in a manner which could not be carried out by each institution
individually. Using the Caucus conferencing system, Sagacity's seminars
maintain their own bibliographic sites along with a common gopher, ftp
and web site for information dissemination. Sagacity also offers its
own electronic bookstore. Hosted on Metanet, Sagacity also offers
participants a number of public conferences for professionals including
ones on such diverse areas as organizational development,
