Description: Rich Mountain Community College, located in western Arkansa, endeavors to provide academic, vocational, and avocational opportunities and dedicates itself to quality programs in these areas. I have taught college history in community colleges for 8 years. Before coming to RMCC I was a pioneer in distance learning in the South Carolina technical college system where I helped establish a system that linked my college's 3 campuses with 26 other colleges. In Arkansas I am a part of a state-wide initiative called ACCESS AR that is making college courses available to students of the state's two-year colleges and beyond.
