Description: ACC is a two year college serving the residents of Atlantic and Cape May counties in New Jersey. It offers 35 programs leading to associate in arts, associate in science andn associate in applied science degrees. A leader in technology, ACC was the first community college in New Jersey to offer on-line courses and now boasts 40 on-line courses. Description: The External Studies Program opens doors to university study and
educational services to adults who cannot participate in programs on
campus. Programs of study are flexible and adapted to each students
background and plans for further education. Students will visit the
campus infrequently, but all quarter hours earned through External

Description: The Open Learning Institute of Hong Kong was established by the Hong
Kong government in 1989. Two characteristics set it apart from other
conventional tertiary institutions: it is " OPEN ", and it is the first
institution in Hong Kong to provide higher education mainly through
distance learning. Despite these fundamental differences, the factor
which gives the OLI full and equal status among degree-awarding
institutions in Hong Kong is the quality of the courses and programmes
it offers. Degree programmes offered by the OLI have been validated by
the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation, and degrees awarded
are therefore recognised both in Hong Kong and overseas for the
purposes of employment and higher postgraduate study.
